The Junior Pride
Pride Hockey Association is pleased to announce that it will be sponsoring a 'Non-National Bound' development team for local players who are hoping to play for the Pride College Prep Team in the near future.
The 'Junior Pride' team will compete in the new U17 JWHL league along with U17 teams from NAHA, Long Island, and PA Quakers. At this time, we have selected 13 players for the Junior Pride, and we hope to find an additional 5 or 6 players to join us through the summer.
The Junior Pride is a unique opportunity which allows players in the greater Washington DC metropolitan area to continue to play with their home clubs and also practice with the Pride College Prep team once a week. The Junior Pride will play a limited schedule which will take place over 4 weekends throughout the winter season in the JWHL.
This team is ideal for Freshmen and Sophomores in the Washington DC metropolitan area, or for upperclassmen who are 17 years old or younger. If you would like more information about the Junior Pride, please contact Kush Sidhu.
