Switzerland defeated Sweden to claim the Bronze Medal at the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, marking an historic event in Women's Ice Hockey.  Jessica Lutz, who played for MYHA and then The Pride, scored a goal in the 3rd period today to help her team to victory.  It’s the first hockey medal for Switzerland since 1948 and it’s the first time that anyone from our area has won an Olympic Medal in ice hockey.  Congratulations Jessie!
