Washington Pride Junior Womens Hockey

The Washington Pride has helped nearly every girl in the history of its program realize their dream of playing NCAA Varsity Ice Hockey.  As the landscape of women's college hockey is rapidly evolving, we will be focusing our attention on our young local players of the future, starting this Spring.  

Our Futures program will focus on girls between 10-13 years old, who currently play on local boys teams (or girls teams).  We aim to supplement these players' current teams with additional training and resources, in an effort to ensure that they are on track with their development as it relates to future elite levels of girls hockey.

Our Pride 14s team will be a full-time team which will skate 2-3 times a week in addition to a comprehensive off-ice program and competitive schedule.  The ideal player for the Pride 14s team would be a talented 8th or 9th grader who is coming out of a high-level boys hockey program - and making the transition to girls hockey.  The 14s will begin skating this Spring to prepare for the season which will start in September.
