Pride Visits United Arab Emirates

The Pride U19 team embarked on an epic trip to The United Arab Emirates April 17-22, 2019 as guests of the UAE Embassy.  The team had an opportunity to view the IIHF Asia Challenge Cup of Hockey in Abu Dhabi, as well as work with the UAE team and local hockey players.  On a day visit to Dubai, The teams played an inter-squad game at the Dubai Mall, which is the largest Mall in the world.   

The players had an opportunity to visit The Grande Mosque, The Louvre Abu Dhabi, The Burj Khalifa (worlds tallest building), and other historic sites in the UAE.   This was a historic visit by a hockey team from the United States in the name of Sports Diplomacy and cultural exchange.  

Veronika Pettey Receives JWHL Player of the Year Award

Pride Senior and 4 year U19 Forward Veronika Pettey was selected as the recipient of the 2017 JWHL Elizabeth 'Liz' Turgeon Player of the Year Award at the end of year JWHL Banquet held at the Lexus Club in Buffalo, NY.  

The award is given to a player who: 1) Embodies the values that Liz Turgeon represented, including: positive attitude, incomparable work ethic, fierce competitor, and puts her teammates before herself. 2) has made invaluable contributions to her team, and has significant individual statistics. 

Veronika is the 2nd Pride player to receive this award, with Haley Skarupa being so honored in 2011 and 2012.  

Pride Opens up JWHL Season in Boston

U19 and U16 teams to play Oct. 4-6, 2013

The Pride College Prep (U19) team opens up the 2013-2014 Junior Women's Hockey League regular season on Friday October 4th when they take on Balmoral Hall School (Winnipeg, MB) at 8:00AM from Northeastern University's Matthews Arena.

The Pride will also face Warner School (Warner, AB), Edge School (Calgary, AB), and Athol Murray College of Notre Dame (Wilcox, SK).  All but the first game will be streamed live on the internet (see www.jwhl.org for details.

The Pride U16 team will also be playing in the opening weekend for the JWHL U16 division, also in the Boston area.  This will be the first time in several years that the JWHL has held a U16 division.  For more details please visit the teams pages.
